At 2500 GSM this is a bath mat you feel underfoot rather than one that slides out from under you — dense cotton on a grippy EVA backing.
Highlights
✓2500 GSM cotton with a 3/4 in (1.8 cm) pile — several times the density of a bath towel, so it takes a full shower's worth of drip without soaking through to the floor.
✓Skid-resistant EVA backing holds it against tile — it stays where you put it instead of bunching up by the door.
✓21 x 35.5 in (54 x 90 cm) — enough to cover the standard run of a tub side or a shower door.
✓Inset border finish keeps the edges from curling as it goes through the wash.
✓Five colourways — White, Charcoal and Sand as plain neutrals, plus Bordeaux & Rosewood and Ecru & Agave for a bathroom with some colour in it.
Bath mats usually fail one of two ways: too thin to absorb anything, or too slippery to trust. This one answers both — the density does the absorbing, the EVA backing does the staying put — and it holds its softness and absorbency through repeated washing rather than flattening into a rag after a month. The backing reduces movement, but the mat is not slip-proof, so take the usual care stepping out of a wet shower.
