The Marlowe puts the ruffle at the shoulder and keeps a flat pointed collar, so the neckline stays open for a necklace or an open shirt underneath. Choose by where you want the eye to land.

It suits someone building an outfit around a single strong layer — a fitted tank or tee, or a plain dress that can take the shoulder volume without competing. Because the denim is rigid, it is a spring and fall piece more than a mid-winter one; it will not sit under a wool coat comfortably.
