Unrefined shea is solid at room temperature and softens with body heat, so scoop a small amount and warm it between your palms before spreading — going straight from jar to skin is the reason people wrongly conclude raw shea is greasy. It has a faint nutty smell of its own; that is the shea, not an added fragrance, and it fades within a few minutes. Formulated without sulfates, parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, artificial color or synthetic fragrance.
