A 73-inch outdoor sofa built for the patio — an acacia wood frame on iron legs, with plush cushions in water-resistant fabric.
Highlights
✓
73.25 in. W x 26.0 in. D x 29.25 in. H, 54.01 lb. Narrow at 26 in. front to back, which is what lets it work on a balcony as well as in a yard.
✓
An acacia wood frame. Acacia is a dense hardwood that handles weather far better than a softwood, and it takes an occasional wipe of oil to keep its colour.
✓
Sturdy iron legs carry the load at the corners instead of relying on the timber joints alone.
✓
Plush cushions in water-resistant fabric — a passing shower does not mean carrying everything indoors mid-afternoon.
✓
54.01 lb, light enough for two people to move off the deck when the weather turns or when the deck needs cleaning.
✓
Dark Gray cushions on natural timber — the combination that stays quiet against decking, paving and planting.
A 73-inch bench-style outdoor sofa seats two adults comfortably and three at a push, which makes it the main seat on a small patio rather than one piece of a suite. Give the timber a wipe of exterior oil once a season and it keeps its tone instead of greying; bring the cushions in over winter and they last considerably longer.
For a two-seat set that includes a glass-top table, see the PE wicker patio sofa set. Both sit in Outdoor, with the indoor seating in Furniture.
