Separates let you take a different size top and bottom; this suit takes one size and gets you out of the changing room faster.

Navy and white stripes are the swimwear that reads nautical rather than tropical, so this is the suit for a boat, a lake house or a hotel pool where you will spend as long out of the water as in it — throw linen trousers or a shirt over it and it works as a bodysuit for lunch. The Black Knotted One-Piece is the same cut without the stripe. Rinse it in cool fresh water and lay it flat to dry rather than wringing the knot out; chlorine, salt and a hard twist are what shorten spandex.
