A 53-inch sofa that weighs 42 lb and holds 500 — the combination that makes it the right piece for a home office, a bedroom or a first apartment.
Highlights
✓
53 in. W x 30 in. D x 31 in. H. Under four and a half feet wide, so it fits a wall a full-size sofa would swallow whole.
✓
The metal frame is rated to support up to 500 lb, which puts two adults comfortably inside the stated capacity.
✓
41.88 lb all in. One person can walk it across a room to vacuum behind it, and it goes up a stairwell without help.
✓
Sponge filling in both the seat and the backrest, so the back gives rather than pressing you forward off the seat like a hard-backed bench.
✓
Care is a dry cloth wipe-down — no covers to unzip, nothing extra to buy.
✓
Three colourways: Pink, Green and Black. Black is the quiet default; Pink and Green are the reason to put it in a room that needs one piece of colour.
At 53 in. wide and 30 in. deep this is genuinely a small-space sofa rather than a compact-sounding full-size one — it seats two adults, and it is short enough to work as the sole seating in a home office or the second seat in a bedroom. The 500 lb figure on a frame this light comes from the metal structure rather than a wood-and-staple carcass, which is why the two numbers can sit together.
If the room will take more width, the wide loveseat runs to 75.75 in. For a single chair, see the mid-century velvet accent chair. More in Furniture.
