Four matching hardshell spinners — 16, 20, 24 and 28 inch — with a travel bag, eight packing organisers and four luggage tags, so one box covers an overnight stay, a cabin bag and two checked cases.
Highlights
✓
Four sizes in one set. The 16-inch handles an overnight stay, the 20-inch is the cabin-size case, and the 24 and 28-inch take the checked load — a family travels on one matching set instead of five bags collected over a decade.
✓
ABS hardshell with a scratch-resistant surface. A rigid shell shrugs off belt-loader scuffing far better than fabric, and it holds its shape when something heavier lands on top of it in the hold.
✓
Quad 360° spinner wheels on every case — you push the weight alongside you rather than dragging it behind you, which is the difference you feel on the 28-inch when it is packed full.
✓
A built-in 3-digit combination lock, set by you — nothing extra to buy and no key to lose between trips. The 24 and 28-inch cases also expand, which is the volume you want for the journey home.
✓
A one-button telescoping handle with three heights, and lined interiors with zippered compartments that keep small things from migrating.
Five colourways — Pink, Black, White, Blue and Purple — and the colour is doing real work on a hardshell: a set you can pick out on the carousel in one glance beats another black suitcase in a row of black suitcases. Cabin allowances differ from carrier to carrier, so check the 20-inch against your own airline rather than at the gate. Wipe the shells down with a damp cloth when you get home and the scuffs come off rather than setting in.
For a set with a 3-dial TSA lock and packing cubes instead, see the hard shell expandable luggage set. Browse Luggage and Travel, or the Gift Shop if this is going to somebody about to move out.
