A clean-lined sofa on solid wood legs — square armrests, a well cushioned back and seat, and two throw pillows in the box.
Highlights
✓
70 in. x 30.5 in. x 33.5 in., 69.0 lb. A compact three-seat footprint, and the 33.5 in. back is the figure to check against a window sill behind it.
✓
Square armrests and clean-cut legs — a minimal shape has nowhere to hide, which is why the straight lines matter more here than on a rolled-arm sofa.
✓
Solid wood legs rather than plastic or particle board, lifting the base clear of the floor so a vacuum head fits underneath.
✓
A well cushioned back and seat over quality fabric upholstery, so the sofa gives where you sit rather than pressing you forward.
✓
Two accent pillows are included, which is where the colour comes from on a deliberately plain shape.
✓
Assembly is straightforward, with simple instructions in the box — legs on, sofa done.
✓
Dark Gray, Gray or Beige, all three built to the same dimensions.
The Bahamas is the sofa to buy when the room is doing the talking: a square-armed, low-fuss shape sits under a gallery wall or beside a patterned rug without competing with either. It seats three, which makes it the main sofa in an apartment living room or the second sofa in a larger one.
For a tufted back and four colourways, see the Chesterfield tufted sofa; for a two-seat version of the same idea, the wide loveseat. All of it sits in Furniture and Home.
